Therapy

What is therapy?

Therapy involves meeting a therapist, typically on a weekly basis, for up to 50 minutes. You explore with a therapist the issues you have presented. This may include talking about life events, both past and present, feelings, relationships, ways of thinking and patterns of behaviour. Together you will explore and identify ways to resolve your difficulties, find ways of coping and moving forward towards healing.

Therapy with me

As an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I work in a relational way which means the therapeutic relationship plays a really important role in the process. I provide a warm and non-judgemental therapy space for you and as your therapist I will support and guide you to reflect, explore and challenge yourself to help you learn and develop from your experiences.

I use an integrated approach which is tailored to each person, as everyone’s story is different. I draw on various theories and creative techniques to help you find ways of coping and move forward towards healing.
